Durwood Film Vault

A 35-ton steel door sets the tone for an impressive meeting space. The old bank vault is equipped with the latest AV technologies for business presentations or private screenings.

Rental Rates

Private Movie Screening

Just like going to the movie theater. People sit down, watch the movie, & then leave. This needs to be completely within Library hours, without any presentation, lecture, discussion, singing, birthday cake, alcohol or food other than small bags of pre-popped popcorn and bottled water.

  • One Showing: $65
Business Groups

Businesses, consultants, associations, individuals, social, and/or membership groups.

Basic Event

Include business meetings, seminars, conferences, breakfasts/lunches, and small-scale receptions/dinners taking place during regular hours.

  • Full Day: $500
  • Half Day: $250

Special Event

Includes media events, press conferences, film shoots, large-scale receptions/dinners, and weddings taking place after normal hours and/or on weekends. Additional charges may apply.

  • Full Day: $1,000
  • Half Day: $500
Non-Business Groups

Government, educational, nonprofit, and/or community-based groups.

Special Notes

  • Adjacent Vault Foyer Area may be used for receptions for additional $250 charge.
  • Use of the Library’s video stock (including feature movies) is encouraged but specific titles cannot be guaranteed for use during your event.
